Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di RSUD Tora Belo Sigi tepatnya pada tanggal 28-30 Maret 2024. Subjek penelitian adalah Tn.S dengan kasus Gastritis. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dalam pengkajian pada Tn.S pasien mengeluh mual, muntah, sakit kepala, badan terasa lemas,nyeri dibagian uluhati, cemas, dan gelisah diagnosa yang muncul nyeri akut berhubungan dengan agen pencedera fisiologis dan ansietas berhubungan dengan kurang terpapar informasi. Tindakan yang dilakukan adanya teknik relaksasi yang paling efektif yaitu teknik nonfarmakologis yaitu memonitor respon terhadap relaksasi dan menganjurkan rileks dan merasakaan sensasi relaksasi nafas dalam. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kesenjangan antara pengkajian dan teori yang ada.
