ABSTRAK (i-xii + 46 halaman + 17 tabel + 1 gambar + 12 lampiran) Prevalensi status 3 yang mengalami malnutrisi di kabupaten Sigi masih tinggi. Sehingga dibutuhkan gambaran kebiasaan makan yang menyebabkan malnutrisi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengtahui gambaran kebiasaan makan dan status 3 pada remaja di SMP negeri 4 Sigi. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 141 siswa/i dan jumlah sampel 58 responden. Pengumpulan data di peroleh dari data primer yaitu dengan formulir food frequency quistionaire dan data antropometri menggunakan timbangan dan microtoice. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan status 3 remaja SMP Negeri 4 Sigi berdasarkan IMT/U adalah 3 baik sebanyak 77,6%, 3 kurang 8,6%, 3 lebih 10,3% dan obesitas 3,4%. Dari seluruh sampel menunjukan bahwa kebiasaan makanan pokok dalam kategori sering sebanyak 84,4% dimana nasi menjadi makanan pook yang paling sering dikonsumsi oleh remaja. Berdasakan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh remaja di SMP Negeri 4 Sigi memiliki kebiasaan makan kategori sering yaitu nasi, telur ayam, kelor, pisang, donat dan minuman kemasan. dan sebagian besar status 3 tergolong baik.</text>
