In Pantoloan Community Health Center in 2022, there will be 2,157 PUS using DMPA contraception. Objective: to determine the relationship between the duration of DMPA injectable contraceptive use and menstrual disorders in family planning acceptors at the Pantoloan Community Health Center in 2023. The method used was cross-sectional with a retrospective population in this study, namely 2,157 PUS in the Lere Community Health Center area, Palu City. With a total sample of 96 respondents, the data collection technique comes from primary data and secondary data with univariate and bivariate analysis. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. This research was carried out from August 30 2023. This research used a parametric test with the Chi-square test using SPSS. The results of the distribution of the frequency of experiencing menstrual disorders were 67.7% and not experiencing menstrual disorders as much as 32.2%. This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis type so that the results of the bivariate analysis of menstrual disorders are P-value 0.000 The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the duration of DMPA injection contraceptive use and menstrual disorders at the Pantoloan Community Health Center. Researchers hope to improve the quality of services, providing information and education regarding the selection of appropriate family planning for PUS.
